“We are a 2 guy dev team and we really want to have the community involved with the progression and evolution of DropIn.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“DropIn - VR F2P is currently being treated as a games as a service model in the fact that patches will continue to expand the base game. Once the game has grown to a place beyond holding a decent community and offering above and beyond value in the F2P space we will shift focus towards DLC, Addons and Community editor/workshop functions.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access will be at a place where most core mechanics are complete but game modes, features and content are still under development with DLC or in app purchases giving access to features as they become available.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“A fully playable solo mission, Dev. Demo Map and a multiplayer social sessions lobby with a multiplayer sandbox gamemode. Deathmatch, Red light green light, and many other social sandbox experiences are also available. A second Mission is in Development as well as adding features to the sandbox apocalypse map.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes an No. The F2P release will remain free. The price will increase as additional features want to be unlocked through DLC licenses (Additional Campaign, Co-op Missions, etc). Dedicated Servers and workshop features will be looked into for the future.”

About This Game

Drop In is a VR social space with a Lobby, Mini games, Solo missions and Multiplayer Gamemodes. Battle Royale Dedicated Servers are planned for the future as the game developes from Early Access to full release. Drop In Consist of the following detailed gameplay mechanics.
