Buccaneers: Shipshape is a full remake of the 1989 Buccaneers arcade game, featuring a plethora of new additions. With the full support from the developer of the original game, Duintronic S.A.



This new remake introduces:
• Ability to control movement in the Z axis (depth), offering a gameplay reminiscent of classic beat ‘em ups like Renegade and Final Fight
• Additional moves including dash, grabs, and special attacks
• 3 new selectable heroes including two female pirates
• 4-player local co-op
• New enemies and hazards
• Treasure chests with power-ups
• Pickup weapons, including pistols and whips
• Additional stages
• Enhanced graphics (updated color palette, new shading, additional animation frames)
• All-new soundtrack
• Widescreen support



The game also includes an unlockable Classic Game mode. This campaign recreates the original arcade game and retains its single-player, single-plane gameplay, as well as its graphics and music!
