With our Early Access launch, we invite you, the intrepid spacefarer, to join us in shaping the final frontiers of this epic adventure. Your invaluable feedback and insights during this phase will help us fine-tune the game, ensuring that the final release is a truly out-of-this-world experience.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We are targeting the end of 2024. We want to use the Steam Capitalism and Economy Fest (2024) as a final collection of feedback and release the 1.0 version after we have had the opportunity to implement the feedback.

Spaceport Trading Company's Early Access version has a solid foundation for the core ideas of gameplay. We are looking to check balance and adding more game play modes. The current offering of Sandbox is good, but we want to have time to craft the full RPG experince in a story mode.

Features Added During Early Access:

• Ship Customization: Upgrade and personalize your spacecraft with advanced equipment, weapons, and defensive systems. Tailor your ship to your preferred playstyle, whether it's trading, combat, or exploration.
  
  
• Turn-based Combat: Defend your cargo and reputation in thrilling turn-based space battles. Customize your ship's loadout and tactics to prevail against pirates and threats.
  
  Features Deepened During Early Access:
  
• Random Events: Expand the scope and effect of encountering unexpected events, such as space anomalies, market crashes, and opportunities for unique trades, keeping your journey dynamic and unpredictable.
  
  
• Economic Simulation:
  The Economic simulation is running and player action has some of the deep impacts we want, however we want to push it a bit furhter.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The core game loop is present and fun to play. However, we want to add more agents, star systems, market items, mission types, and ships. On top of this additional content we want to provide more customization options, and having the community help highlight the ones that are most important to them will aid in focusing our efforts.

Current State of Features:

While the "About This Game" contains the more expansive list. Living the life of an spacefaring merchant is fully available in the current state.

Currently, the only game mode is sandbox.

While we have not finalized the 1.0 release price of Spaceport Trading Company, as we want to be sure the scope of content and the experience are inline. We are looking to have the price gradually raise as we ship new content and features.
